Do I own the website once it's built?
Yes, completely. The code, content and domain are all yours. There's no lock-in — if you ever want to move to another agency or an in-house team, you can take everything with you.
Ownership After Full Payment
Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use everything we've built for you — the design, the content, the finished site — for your intended purposes. This is standard practice across the industry.
What About Full Copyright Transfer?
Full copyright transfer isn't included by default and may incur an additional fee if specifically required — most clients don't need this, since the licence already covers using and running your site exactly as intended. If you have a specific reason to need full copyright transfer, mention it early and we can discuss it.
Code We Reuse
Any bespoke code, frameworks or tools we've developed independently of your specific project remain our property and may be reused elsewhere — this doesn't affect your ability to use and run your own website.
